Cancellation Policy
Thank you for entrusting Town and Country Animal Clinic with your pet's care. When you schedule an appointment with us, we set aside enough time to provide the highest quality care for you and your pet. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please contact our office as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
This gives us time to schedule other patients who may be waiting for an appointment. Please see our Appointment Cancellation/ No Show Policy below:
Effective as of September 20, 2022, any established client who fails to show or cancel/reschedule a doctor appointment and has not contacted our office with at least 24 hours notice will be considered no show and be required to pay a deposit ($91) in order to schedule a new appointment. Any established client who fails to show or cancel/reschedule a doctor appointment without 24-hour notice a second time in a row will be charged an additional $91 deposit, in order to schedule a new appointment.
If a third no show or cancellation/reschedule without 24 hours notice should occur, the patient may be dismissed from Town and Country Animal Clinic, under management's discretion.
Any new client who fails to show for their initial appointment will not get their deposit back. Depending on circumstances the client may be asked to find another veterinary clinic for care. The fees will be added to the account and must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled.
As a courtesy, Town and Country provides text and email reminders to help prevent missed appointments. We ask that last minute/urgent appointments and urgent drop-off appointments call at the start of the day if the appointment is no longer necessary, and no fee will be charged. This allows us to fit in other patients from our waiting list. We understand there may be times when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. If you should experience extenuating circumstances, please ask to speak with the Hospital Manager, who may be able to waive the no-show fee. You may contact the office via email, phone, text and voicemail.
